Motorola launches the most affordable 5g phone in India.

Moto just launched the new Moto g 5g in India for 20,999 rupees. It is the most affordable 5g phone in the country right now. It features Qualcomm's new SD 750g chipset which a powerful midrange chipset with 5g built-in. The phone also has a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with HDR10 support, triple rear cameras with a main 48MP f1.7 lens, 8MP ultrawide with 118 degree field of view and a 2MP macro lens which also assists in auto-focus and a 16MP front shooter. 

The phone has a beefier 5000mah cell which adds to its weight of 212g. The phone has a plastic build with an eye-catching finish. It is only available in 6gb ram with 128gb internal storage. It has a hybrid sim slot along a headphone jack and a google assistant button. The phone also comes with a 20watt fastcharger with a type A to type C cable in the box. It has android 10 out of the box with stock android experience and no bloatware.

Google and Qualcomm collaborate to bring 4 years of software update in android phones.

Qualcomm and Google announced their collaboration to simplify and bring 4 years of Android updates to smartphones powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. Under Project Treble devices running on Snapdragon chipsets (from SD888 onwards) will receive security updates and new android versions for the next four years.  Project Treble will enable OEMs to upgrade their devices to the latest Android versions without worrying about Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset specific software. This is a huge leap in terms of android updates which is not always guaranteed in the Android world. OnePlus provides android updates to their devices for 3 years and recently Samsung also started providing 3 years of updates for their flagship devices. This will be divert some Apple customers into Android space because from the coming year Android smartphones with Snapdragon chipsets will be getting long term software support just like iPhones and increase the longevity of Android smartphones from 1-2 years to 4+...

Samsung Exynos chip with AMD RDNA GPU slams Apple.

Samsung and AMD have been working together to bring major competition to the smartphone chips market.
