Samsung Galaxy S21 ultra's incredible cameras!

Samsung S21 ultra has the most impressive camera system in a 2021 flagship. The phone was announced on 14 January 2021 with the Snapdragon 888 SoC or Exynos 2100 depending on your location. The phones camera specs and looks is mesmerizing.

The camera system consists of the new 108 megapixel HM3 sensor as the primary camera, a 12megapixel ultrawide lens with 120 degree FoV, a 10megapixel 3X telephoto lens for shorter range zoom and a 10 megapixel 10X optical zoom camera for zooming in on farther subjects(or spying). Both the telephoto lenses has a 130percent larger pixel size than last year and the 100X space zoom quality also has a big increase. The phone has a zoom lock feature which locks the frame when you zoom longer to reduce blurry pictures. 

Those 2 ten megapixel 1.22um sensors are the best in its class. They have a large aperture to let in more light for better night time photos and support 2PD for better focusing.  While other cameras have to refract light 5 times to enable such a zoom range, the S21 ultra need to only do this twice thus increasing the quality of the photo as light detail loss to very low. The ultrawide lens has dual pixel autofocus which allows for macro shots like the ones from OnePlus flagships. The phone automatically switches to the ultrawide lens when it detects the subject is within 5-40cm range for incredible close up shots. 

Video recording capabilities are 8k at 24 fps, 4k at 30/60 fps, 1080p at 30/60 and for the first time in a Samsung smartphone, 4K 60fps video is available from every lens. The ultra has a directors mode which shows previews from all the rear lenses except from the 10X tele lens for smoother switching between lenses and to select the perfect lens for the perfect shot. 

There is also a vlogger mode which allows video recording from the rear lenses and front camera at the same time. Samsung has added a laser autofocus for faster focusing and this solves the major problem the S20 ultra had with focus hunting. All this combined makes the S21 ultra a powerful and versatile camera system in a smartphone and the most enhanced one of 2021.
