Vivo launches the new V20 pro 5g in India.
Vivo launched their new V20 pro 5g in India, and the main thing that stands out is that this is the slimmest phone at around 7.3mm thick. Vivo also has feature packed this phone with the 5g compatible SnapDragon 765G chipset and 8GB ram with 128Gb of internal storage. As for optics, the phone uses Samsung's 64MP GW1 sensor as its main camera , an 8MP ultrawide lens, and 2MP depth lens. The phone sports a 6.44 inch FHD AMOLED panel locked at 60hz. Vivo's front facing cameras are where things get interesting, with a 44MP main sensor and 8MP ultrawide sensor, this front facing pair knocks out 99% of its competition in the price range.
The phone runs on Android 10 and Vivo claims that this phone will get the Android 11 update anytime soon. The phone has a 4000mah battery with 33watt fast charging. The phone is 170g in weight and is pretty ergonomic. The main competition for the V20 pro comes from the OnePlus Nord which is similarly priced at around 29,999 rupees. As for software and performance, the Nord is clearly ahead of the V20pro due to Oxygen OS and its optimisations. The only area where Vivo shines is the cameras as the V20 pro is better in both the front and rear facing department.
The V20 pro is available on both Amazon and Flipkart at 29,999 rupees and has additional card discounts of another 2000 rupees.
