Smartphones to look out for in 2021 Q1.

We saw a lot of new smartphones in 2020 even amid the pandemic. Here's a lost of smartphones that will be lunched in first quarter 2021.

Samsung S21 series

Samsung will be launching three new S series flagships this January, the S21, S21+ and the S21 ultra. The phones have a big design refresh  from last year's S20 series and leaks suggests that the cameras get a big upgrade this year. The S21 ultra will get S-Pen support making it the first phone apart from the Samsung Note series to support a stylus, however, the S-Pen will not be included in the box.

OnePlus 9 series

OnePlus usually launches their phones in May or April, but this year they will be launching the 9 series this March. OnePlus 9 series will consist of the regular 9 , the 9 pro and an unusual 9 lite. The company is launching lite phone among their flagships for the first time and the lite will sport last years flagship specs. However, the 9 and 9 pro will have a serious camera upgrade since OnePlus is working with Leica and the design leaks suggests that both of them look different compared to last year's 8 and 8 pro, which by the way, looked very similar to the 7 and 7 pro from 2019.

Xiaomi Mi 11

Xiaomi  Mi 11 launched in China at Dec end in 2020, but the phone will be announced globally in January 2021. It is the first smartphone to sport Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 888 SoC, and the specs also looks promising considering the price which is just over  $600 or RS 45,000. The Mi 11 pro is not announced yet in China, but it will also appear in international markets in February or March.

OPPO Find X3

OPPO should be launching their Find X3 and X3 pro during March this year along with OnePlus as they are sister companies. Last years Find X2 and X2 pro were fully fledged flagship, the X2 pro being the first phone to come with a periscope zoom lens. Both the phones were really good, but the price was too high at the time of announcement, and the X2 pro fell under OnePlus 8 pro's shadow as it had almost the same specs and the much better Oxygen OS for a much cheaper price than the X2 pro.
